Covington Senior Living is celebrating the completion of their new establishment with an open house September 8, 2017 from 4-7 p.m. at 1925 N. State Street, Orem, UT. The finishing touches are underway as Orem’s newest senior living community prepares to receive its first residents. Come join us on September 8th for walking tours of the facilities and food prepared by our executive chefs.
The timing of the open house coincides with National Assisted Living Week September 10-16, 2017. In 1995, the National Center for Assisted Living established National Assisted Living Week to honor the contributions of assisted living communities in providing long term care to America’s seniors and individuals with disabilities. This year’s theme is, “Family is Forever.” Orem’s Mayor Richard Brunst will be in attendance and will read the national Assisted Living Week Proclamation. The ribbon will be cut by George Nelson, an 83-year-old construction worker who assisted in building the community.
“I can’t think of a better time to celebrate our grand opening than during National Assisted Living Week. Our calling of working in health care often allows us to rub shoulders with some of the greatest humans the world has to offer,” says Mindy Hill, executive director, Covington Senior Living.
After a 20-year career in long term care in Utah County, Hill recently launched Banyan Consulting and Covington Management and has great plans to bring cutting edge approaches to care to the senior living industry.
Covington Senior Living is 90,305 Sq.
